Biography

Vincenza di Simone is born around 1863 in Corleone, the daughter of Vincenzo di Simone and Maria Feudi, who married in 1836.

Vincenza's sister, Maria Rosa, marries Paolo Frisella in 1878. He is a known associate of Giuseppe Morello in New York City.

Cosmo Damiano Verro, age 32 (b. 1855), clerk (impiegato), son of the late Paolo Verro and the living Maria Palumbo; and Vincenza Di Simone, age 24 (b. 1863), housewife, daughter of the late Vincenzo Di Simone and the living Maria Feudi; announce their intention to marry on 27 July 1887 in the civil record for Corleone. Witnesses are Michele Alfesi, age 29 (b. 1858), goldsmith, and Luigi di Girolamo, age 30 (b. 1857), tailor.^[1]

Vincenza marries Cosimo on 27 July 1887 in the Church in Corleone.^[2]

Vincenza and Cosimo Damiano have at least one child, Paolo (c. 1889), named after his paternal grandfather.

Paolo joins his uncle Paolo Frisella in New York City in 1905.^[3]
